About Me: In addition to working as a therapist I have also had the opportunity to work in the fields of aging and disabilities.
Ralph Yaniz, MA, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who joined FSC in 2023. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago. Ralph joined FSC with more than 25 years of experience, having worked in outpatient community mental health and inpatient treatment facilities, and having worked with people struggling with addiction issues. The bulk of his work has been in community mental health where he focused on individuals, couples and families, and where he served as a program director of clinical outpatient services and as a supervisor of housing programs. Ralph is also bilingual (native Spanish speaker) and has worked extensively with the Latino community. Ralph believes in working with clients to create a safe environment and primarily uses a strengths-based approach to mental health treatment.
